"No complaint" isn’t enough

When people are asked about life they sometimes say “no complaint”. What they mean is that they don’t want to complain about God or thank Him either. Actually, they are tempted not to thank Him. They are tempted to complain.

All of us are tempted to complain. All of us are tempted not to thank Him either.

And it is clear that it is good not to complain. Complain is bad. Complain is criticizing Gods dealing in our lives. A complaint isn’t acceptable at all.

And do not grumble, as some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel. 1 Corinthians 10:10

But not complaining isn’t enough. Being passive isn’t enough. It takes to praise God. Praising God is the will of God towards us.

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

We have to humble ourselves not only to complain but also to thank God for everything.

Don’t just keep quiet. Praise Him. Even if you are tempted not to praise him, defeat the Devil by praising him.

Not only we are commanded not to complain, we are also commanded to praise Him.
