God is a Respecter of Hearts

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:34

God isn’t a respecter of persons. People are impressed by others riches, beauty, might or wisdom. God isn’t the respecter of persons.

That doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have any standard to evaluate us with. God is a god of standards. But his standard isn’t human standard. But he still has standards to weigh up us with.

God isn’t a respecter of persons. He is definitely a respecter of the heart. God is a respecter of the heart position.

People look others height or look. But God doesn’t look ones height or look. But that doesn’t mean that god doesn’t judge at all or he doesn’t have any standard he evaluates us with.

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

The Lord is looking for the right heart to strengthen the person of good heart.

For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 2 Chronicles 16:9

God doesn’t show favoritism according to our race Jew or Gentile. God doesn’t have a favorite race. But He definitely has a favorite heart.

For God does not show favoritism. Romans 2:11

People value the beauty of the skin. But God values the heart beauty.

Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. 1 Peter 3:4

That is why above all we have to guard our heart diligently to be in the position of God’s help in the time of need.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23
