We are created to be free moral beings. Man thinks before he decided to do something. He only does what he decided to do.
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23: 7
A person who always thinks about stealing is a thief; a person who thinks about hatred can’t have the ability to love others.A person can only correct his Steps in thought stage. Man can change his life in changing his thought before it is too late.
A person who doesn’t control the evil thought that comes to his mind and wants to be a good person is like a person who is waiting to reap wheat after sowing weeds.
Satan can’t make one sin by force. The only thing he can do is to send the bad thoughts. If you entertain the evil thoughts, he gets you. If you quickly reject the evil thought, the devil will never have access in your life. He can’t make us do wrong without our coöperation.
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11: 3
Any thought can come anytime. But we decide what thought we entertain and what we don’t. The power is in our hands. As long as we don’t entertain an evil thought, it will have no power in our lives.
We can only protect our mind and our life by meditating on the word of God. We can check out thought by the following measurements before we entertain them in our minds and our lives.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there be any praise, think on these things Philippians 4: 8
