Happy New You

We all are always eager to have a new year. We need a new beginning. We long for a fresh start. There is nothing wrong with great expectations.

The truth is how much we are eager to have a new thing in life; we cannot get it. We cannot have the desired new life unless we do the right thing. Desiring without the corresponding action is nothing.

It isn’t up to God to give us a change of life. God only gives us an opportunity for a change in life.

If our mind isn’t new, the newness of the year doesn’t benefit us at all. If the mind of man isn’t changed, the life of the same can’t be changed. Man is changed through his thoughts.

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7

The best way to renew your life is to renew your mind. The best way to renew your mind is to align your mind to the original intent of God. The best way of renewing your life is to align your thought to the truth of the word of God.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

The only way of escaping from the corruption of the world is by the renewal of the minds.

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, Ephesians 4:17

We have to be born again to have a truly new year. We have to be a new creation to benefit from the fullness of the year. We have to renew our minds to have a renewed year months and days. Our change in life isn’t related to the change of calendar. Our change in life is directly proportional to the renewal of our minds.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

What makes the year new is the newness of the person.

You can even have a new year if you change your mind by the word of God by the 31 of December.

ተስፋ ባልሆነው ጊዜ ተስፋ ይዞ አመነ

ዘርህ እንዲሁ ሊሆን ነው እንደ ተባለ፥ ተስፋ ባልሆነው ጊዜ የብዙ አሕዛብ አባት እንዲሆን ተስፋ ይዞ አመነ። ወደ ሮሜ ሰዎች 4፡18

እግዚአብሄር ለአብርሃም ልጅ እሰጥሃለሁ ሲለው እስከ 100 ዓመቱ ድረስ ልጅህ አልነበረውም፡፡ ሚስቱም ሳራ አርጅታ ነበር 90 ዓመት ሆኗት ነበር፡፡

በምድራዊ አስተያየት አብርሃም ልጅ የመውለድ ምንም ተስፋ አልበነረውም፡፡

አብርሃም የቀረው አንድ ተስፋ የእግዚአብሄር የተስፋ ቃል ብቻ ነበር፡፡

እምነት የሚያስፈልገው በምድር ተስፋ ስለሌለው ነገር ነው፡፡ በምድር ተስፋ ላለው ነገር ግን ምን እምነት ያስፈልገዋል?

እምነት ከመስማት ነው መስማትም በእግዚአብሄር ቃል ነው እንደሚል አብርሃም የእግዚአብሄርን ቃል ተስፋ አደረገ፡፡ የምድር አሰራር ልጅ ለመውለድ ተስፋ ቢያስቆርጠውም አብርሃም የእግዚአብሄርን አሰራር ተስፋ አደረገ፡፡ አብርሃም የመውለድ ሃይሉ ተስፋ ቢያስቆርጠውም በእግዚአብሄር ሃይል ተስፋ አደረገ፡፡ አብርሃም ሰውነቱ ተስፋ ቢያስቆርጠውም እግዚአብሄርን ተስፋ አደረገ፡፡

የመቶ ዓመትም ሽማግሌ ስለ ሆነ እንደ ምውት የሆነውን የራሱን ሥጋና የሳራ ማኅፀን ምውት መሆኑን በእምነቱ ሳይደክም ተመለከተ፤ወደ ሮሜ ሰዎች 4፡19

አብርሃም በስጋ ሲደክም በእምነት በረታ፡፡ የምድራዊ ልጅ የመውለድ ተስፋው ቢያደክመውም አብርሃም በእምነቱ አልደከመም፡፡

ይህን ተራራ መዞር ይበቃችኋል ተመልሳችሁ ወደ ሰሜን ሂዱ

እግዚአብሔርም እንዳለኝ ተመልሰን በኤርትራ ባሕር መንገድ ወደ ምድረ በዳ ሄድን፤ የሴይርንም ተራራ ብዙ ቀን ዞርን። እግዚአብሔርም እንዲህ ብሎ ተናገረኝ፦ ይህን ተራራ መዞር ይበቃችኋል ተመልሳችሁ ወደ ሰሜን ሂዱ። ኦሪት ዘዳግም 2፡1-3

እግዚአብሄር የእስራኤል ህዝብ ከግብፅ ያወጣቸው ወደከንአን ሊስገባቸው ነው፡፡ እግዚአብሄር የእስራኤልን ህዝብ ከግብፅ ያወጣቸው አንድን ተራራ እየዞሩ እንዲቀሩ አይደለም፡፡

ነገር ገን የእስራኤል ህዝብ ተራራውን ወደውታል፡፡ ተራራውን ያውቁታል፡፡ ተራራው አስተማማኝ ነው፡፡ ተራራውን መዞር ምንም አደጋ የለውም፡፡ ተራራውን መዞር ተመችቷቸዋል፡፡

የእግዚአብሄር ፈቃድ ግን ተራራውን እንዲዞሩ ሳይሆን ወደ ተስፋይቱ ምደር እንዲገቡ ነው፡፡

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር ለመግባት ተራራውን እንደ መዞር ከአደጋ ነፃ አይደለም፡፡ ወደ ተስፋይቱ ምድር መሄድ የሚያውቁትን አካባቢ መተው ይጠይቃል፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ መደር መጓዝ ለአመታት የለመዱትን መተው ይጠይቃል፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር ለመግባት ወደማያውቁት ምድር መሄድ ይጠይቃል፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር ለመግባት መዋጋት ይጠይቃል፡፡

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መሄድ ወደማያውቁት ምድር መሄድን ይጠይቃል፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ መደር መጓዝ የማይታየውን ማየት ይጠይቃል፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ መደር መጓዝ በእምነት መራመድ ይጠይቃል፡፡

እንግዲህ ሁልጊዜ ታምነን፥ በእምነት እንጂ በማየት አንመላለስምና 2ኛ ወደ ቆሮንቶስ ሰዎች 4፡6-7

ወደተስፋይቱ መደር መጓዝ ሽልማቱን አስተያይቶ የጊዜውን መከራ መናቅን ይጠይቃል፡፡

የማይታየውን እንጂ የሚታየውን ባንመለከት፥ ቀላል የሆነ የጊዜው መከራችን የክብርን የዘላለም ብዛት ከሁሉ መጠን ይልቅ ያደርግልናልና፤ የሚታየው የጊዜው ነውና፥ የማይታየው ግን የዘላለም ነው። 2ኛ ወደ ቆሮንቶስ ሰዎች 4፡17-18

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ ነፍስን በእግዚአብሄር እጅ ላይ መተው ይጠይቃል፡፡

ነፍሱን ሊያድን የሚወድ ሁሉ ያጠፋታል፤ ስለ እኔ ግን ነፍሱን የሚያጠፋ ሁሉ ያገኛታል። የማቴዎስ ወንጌል 16፡25

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ የፍርሃት ስሜቱ እያለ በፍርሃት ስሜት አለመቆምን ይጠይቃል፡፡

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ ለአመታት በነፃ የምንበላውን መና ትተን ማረስ መስራት መድከም መጀመርን ይጠይቃል፡፡

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ ከነፍሳችን ምቾት በላይ የእግዚአብሄርን አላማ ማስቀደምን ይጠይቃል፡፡

ነገር ግን ሩጫዬንና ከጌታ ከኢየሱስ የተቀበልሁትን አገልግሎት እርሱም የእግዚአብሔርን ጸጋ ወንጌልን መመስከር እፈጽም ዘንድ ነፍሴን በእኔ ዘንድ እንደማትከብር እንደ ከንቱ ነገር እቆጥራለሁ። የሐዋርያት ሥራ 20፡20

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ ባለፈው ከግብፅ በመውጣታችን ብቻ ደስ በመሰኘት የለመድነውን ተራራ እየዞርን በምድረ በዳ አለመቅረትን ይጠይቃል፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ ወደከንአን የመግባት ህልማችንን ብቻ እያሰብን በምኞት ከመኖር ይጠብቀናል፡፡ እግዚአብሄር ህልምን የሚሰጠን ስለ ህልምነቱ ሳይሆን በህይወታችን እንዲፈፀም ነው፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ በግብፅ ባለመጥፋታችንና በመጠበቃችን ብቻ አለመርካትን ይጠይቃል፡፡

ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ በመጠበቃችን ብቻ አለመርካትን ይጠይቃል፡፡ በምድር ላይ ያለነው ራሳችንን ጠብቀን ልንኖር ብቻ ሳይሆን ፍሬ እንድናፈራ ነው፡፡ በምድር ላይ ያለነው የእግዚአብሄርን አላማ ልንፈፅም ነው፡፡ ወደተስፋይቱ ምድር መጓዝ ከመጠበቃችን አልፎ ለፍሬያማነት መዘርጋትን ይጠይቃል፡፡
