Don’t dream big for God.
I hear people say, "Dream big for God." I'm
telling you never dream big about God. God is not lacking in dreams. God is
sufficiently creative to know what He wants of you. God knows why he created
you. God knows what brings the greatest glory into your life.
The best thing you can do instead is to discover what goal
He has for your life. Leaving your comfort zone to do what He wants you to do
beyond your capabilities is the best thing you can do for Him. The best thing
you can do is to go beyond your natural boundaries and be in the realm of the
supernatural possibility that he shows you. You leave "your ship" to
"walk on the water", obedient to the voice of the master.
"Lord, if it’s you," Peter replied, "tell me
to come to you on the water." "Come," he said. Then Peter got
down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Matthew
14:28-29
The best risk you can take is obeying the teacher to do the
most "strange" thing on earth. The most effective way to take a risk
is to stretch yourself to the level of doing the will of God for your life.
Your childhood dream is too small for God. That's not even his
dream for you. It isn’t worth living for. Besides, it is a cheap imitation of
God's goal in your life.
Dream big with the Lord!
